Mission and Values
Our mission is to extend God’s kingdom on earth by honoring God, equipping the saints, and conquering the world for Christ. We believe that it is our calling as Christians to spread the good news of God’s love and salvation to all people and to serve as a shining light in a world that is often dark and troubled.
To fulfill our mission, we are dedicated to honoring God in all that we do. We seek to live our lives in accordance with His teachings and to offer our worship, service, and obedience to Him. We also believe in equipping the saints – that is, helping our members grow in their faith, develop their gifts and talents, and use them to serve others.
We believe in conquering the world for Christ. This means reaching out to those who are lost or hurting, offering them hope and comfort through the power of Christ. We believe that by sharing the love of God with others, we can make a real and lasting impact on our community and the world.
We believe that our mission can only be accomplished through our unwavering commitment to following the teachings of Christ. At the core of our values is a deep reverence for the Lord and His teachings. We place our trust in His wisdom and guidance, and we surrender ourselves to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. We believe in the transformative power of the Holy Spirit to change lives and to help us fulfill our mission.
As followers of Christ, we understand the importance of loving God with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength. This is the Greatest Commandment that Jesus taught us (Mark 12:30), and it serves as a guiding principle for all that we do at HEC.

History
For almost 80 years, Holiness Evangelical Church (HEC) has been committed to developing young leaders, scholars, and friends to the glory of God. We understand that a Christ-centered education is critical in laying the foundation for a child’s future success, and we are dedicated to providing excellence in education through a distinctly Christian worldview.
Our focus on developing leaders begins at an early age. From our preschool program for 2- year-olds to our elementary school, we provide a nurturing environment where children can learn and grow in their faith. Our curriculum is designed to challenge and inspire young minds while also instilling important values such as kindness, compassion, and respect for others.
In addition to academic learning, we also prioritize spiritual formation programming for our young students. Through chapel services, Bible studies, and other activities, we help our students deepen their understanding of God’s love and develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
At HEC, we understand the importance of providing a collaborative learning environment that fosters friendships and encourages teamwork. Our teachers and staff serve as mentors to our students, helping them to develop their unique gifts and talents and encouraging them to become the leaders that God has called them to be.
As a faith-driven institution, we are committed to providing excellence for each child and preparing them for a life of service to God and to others.
